Josh "Chico" Torres enjoys creating religious pieces, black and grey work, portraits and pin-up girls. His work hearkens back to the classic American styles, which date back as far as the 1940's, but Josh incorporates authentic urban themes and his own modern style to create truly original works of art.
Josh, who originally hails from East LA, began his artistic career at age 5, and is deeply influenced by the prolific graffiti styles and mexican brush art of his youth. Josh is also an accomplished painter, having brought his original synthesis of style to the canvas in photorealistic porraits of women, hot-rods and motorcycles.
Josh has three years experience and having recently completed his apprenticeship under the legendary Quentin Ross.
